Polymer clay is fairly durable, but it is still a clay and can break if bent too far. Each pedal is added separtely on this pair and secured with the black button middle on front and back. Just wipe with witch hazel or rubbing alcohol if you get make-up on them... or add a tiny bit of furniture polish to give them a little shine. They are a matt finish.
