Easy to care for.. wipe down with a soft cloth. Want a little shine, you can dab on furniture polish or something similar. These have a light layer of museaum grade wax on top for protection. They are big - and therefore subject to breaking if they are bent too far ... so take care not to toss them loosely into your handbag or suitcase. :). they are still a clay product though fairly durable.
